Game-Based Learning: Board Game Night

We're hosting the first session of our game-based learning series — Board Game Night!

Game-based learning is becoming one of the premiere strategies for teaching students, while also keeping them engaged. It’s the world we live in, plain and simple. Join us for a fun night of gaming with board games like Catan, Pandemic and Ticket to Ride, and collaborate with other educators to discover how even board games can be useful in learning environments.

EdFlix: Screenagers

We're having another movie night, one of many more to come, and for our second feature we will be showing the documentary Screenagers!

The digital world is like an insanely difficult obstacle course that must be navigated with extreme care, and that’s especially true for adolescents and young adults. Screenagers is an award winning film that addresses how adolescents interact with the digital world, and discusses strategies for how to interact with that world appropriately.
