Site Visit 2: Renowned STEM Schools

We’re doing site visits to renowned STEM schools, STEM Lab K-8 and Northglenn High School, and we want you to be there! If you’re interested in learning more about the problem-based learning model, talking with STEM coordinators and visiting classrooms at the schools to hear thoughts from students and teachers, now’s your chance!


  • Participants will meet at STEM Lab K-8 (11700 Irma Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233) at 8:45

    • The STEM Lab tour is from 9:00am-10:00am.

    • The main entrance is by the flagpole.

  • The Northglenn High School (601 W 100th Pl, Northglenn, CO 80260) Tour runs from 10:15am-11:15am

    • The entrance to the STEM area is a short walk from student parking.

    • You will walk under the large metal arches off of 102nd and Huron.

 What to Expect:

  • The STEM/PBL model in action

  • Opportunities for classroom visits

  • Opportunities to meet with STEM coordinators and hear from students and teachers about the model

Who Should Attend:

  • Anyone interested in learning more about STEM and problem-based learning

  • Educators at all levels

  • Industry leaders looking to learn more about where education is headed
