Do you want to try coding in your classroom, but just don't have the time to wade through the available technologies, much less learn how to use them? This 1-day workshop is for you!
Come learn about Scratch, Raspberry Pi, and Makey Makey through partner (pair) programming.
In the morning, you will learn how to use the Raspberry Pi’s electrical components and basic Scratch programming to light up an LED - once you've got that down, the possibilities for the Pi are endless!
In the afternoon, you will program a game using Scratch (using the Raspberry Pi as the computer), and create an adaptive game controller with the Makey Makey and conductive materials of your choosing. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on coding, physical computing, and circuit-building experience that you can take back to your classroom!
