mindSpark Learning and Brink Literacy Project are beyond excited to announce a partnership, and to offer an in-depth six-week course centered on storytelling through the medium of comics.
Course participants will interact with celebrity comic creators, storyboard their own incredible tales and adventures as educators and work hand-in-hand with experts from both organizations to bring engaging storytelling back to their classrooms and students. All participants will also be given the chance to have their story added to a published anthology of super teacher stories!
Learn from expert facilitators, celebrity comic creators and former educators, who know how to effectively implement these strategies in the classroom.
Dive deep into various books, comics and memoirs to better understand how to frame your story, and tell it through an engaging medium.
Celebrate the accomplishments of being a super educator by telling the stories of your incredible exploits, defining adversity and day-to-day adventures.
Walk away with engaging strategies and pedagogical practices that will make implementing graphic storytelling in the classroom fun and inspiring.
